We found that after teeth lost, bone are resorped years by years. Loose dentures problem is the big problem of edentate patients. They cannot do normal function with their dentures because of loosening, soreness and painful in some area. The efficiency of mastication are also low.
This slide movie is shown a case of 71years old lady. She got teeth lost so many years that we can see thin and flat ridge in lower jaw. We used 4mini dental implants for supporting lower overdenture, because of affordable price and non-complicated surgical porcedure which she can accept them. We did auxillary procedure with bone trimming by PIEZOTOME (ultra-sonic surgical device) before mini dental implants placeement.

how easy would it be for me to get a job and do most places have good insurance?
i have a strange case i have a severe underbite and my jaw is out of place, well crooked, and i need a jaw surgery to get it fixed because braces just wont do it.. i am very poor and so the navy was an option but i am not stron g enough for that so do oral surgeons hire dental assistants?
i have big dreams i would like to pursue and a pretty smile is required and my teeth make me unhappy
Call an oral maxillofacial surgeon’s office and ask them. You don’t need to be in the field to get the work done.
If your underbite is causing you problems with chewing or biting through your food, speech difficulties, tissue damage or other problems, your medical insurance should cover it. My own underbite was contributing to my obstructive sleep apnea and an inability to bite through or properly chew my food. I was pre-approved by my medical insurance company at least two months before my surgery because of it.

First of all, thank you for your time and for reading this. I have been to several dentists in the past and I was fortunate enough to see one when I was living in Indiana (now in AZ) who seemed to care. He said to my twin brother, "Yeah, it definitely seems like he is suffering." Thankfully, he believed me. If you can, before you read this question, please consider reading about my severe chronic pain which is on the left-side of my entire head. This could help you answer this question! It is located at: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110816223650AAdx4PE You can always skim it. Also, read the entirety of this message as it has some of my medical history, etc that could prove useful…
Onto my jaw issue. I usually suffer from severe pain in the left-side of my head at all times since I was 13 (I am now 26 years old). I have been hit hard on the left side of the head by a basketball when 11 or 12 years old and had severe pain (possible concussion). But didn’t have jaw pain until age 13 and afterwards. Before I became chronically ill, I also was bitten by fleas and had the water company (in Indiana) send a letter saying, "Those with low immune systems needs to boil their water." These are things I am telling just in case they could help…
I did have an MRI on my jaw done and it described the following:
FINDINGS: On the left there is anterior dislocation of the meniscus in the closed mouth position with recapture in the open mouth position. (Report says everything else is normal).
IMPRESSION: Anterior dislocation left meniscus with recapture in the open mouth position.
About 6 or so years ago, my jaw has started to "lock," or like a dentist worded it, "guard" into place. Normally (alongside my chronic head pain) my jaw pops every time I open my mouth. When in this guarded position, however, it sounds like I can hear muscles tearing (it sounds awful) and crackling, popping,. It almost sounds like someone plucking dental floss in my ear. The pain in my left ear worsens (which I already suffer from) and my left eye pain worsens greatly, also in the left temple (I can feel my heartbeat when the pain worsens, or at random intervals in the temple/eye area).
Another dentist – who didn’t seem to believe in my pain – told me that 35% of Americans have this and they don’t deal with pain. So it shouldn’t be this or a big deal. I begged him to look at the actual MRI images, but he refused (ARGH!). Since my jaw pops and I get more pain on top of my constant pain, I think there is a problem. Exactly what? I don’t know…That’s why I am here…
Recently, I’ve been paying A LOT more attention to my pain and trying to figure it out. Well, in doing so, I’ve noticed – when my jaw is guarded (which it is now, has been for two weeks…) – that when I open my mouth wide and try to extend it, I hear the popping (or described, plucking-floss noise) and my left eye immediately worsens GREATLY in pain.
As you can see, I have some major problems. So here are my questions:
1) Can my jaw be causing my left-sided eye, ear, and jaw pain? If so, what treatment is there (since it isn’t normally locked, etc)?
2) Also, my ear has felt "full" on several occasions and I could not hear out of it while in severe pain. I had it checked and the actual ear was fine. What could have caused this and what can be done for my ear and ear pain?
3) I need to know if my jaw can be causing the entirety of my left-sided head pain. My left head is in CONSTANT pain at all times since 13. Can my jaw be causing this severe, constant pain?
4) What can I do to unlock or ‘un-guard’ my jaw?
5) How risky is surgery and is it in reason?
6) If there is anything else you can tell me, I’d really be grateful. I’m sitting here in so much pain (again, especially in my eye, temple, ear, jaw – in that order, from severe pain to less severe pain.
Thank you for your time, for reading this question, and for those that answered. Please remember that there are others looking at this question needing answers too – so although they are silent, they need help like me and are thankful for ANY replies.
Hope to hear from someone soon,
Robby

So, she said a few things that completely hit home. #1 she said I was in a relationship and put everything I had into that relationship, and I haven’t been the same since, I constantly doubt love and push it away, and I over analyze things. #2 Someone who has passed away is following me, giving me signs of my future, this person would be my grandpa. #3 I’m a guardian angel, I’m a natural caregiver and I have a really big heart, I tend to care more about others than myself.
I was in a relationship a few years ago, he was my first love, and I put everything I had into this relationship and it didn’t work out, I haven’t been in a relationship. This relationship changed me quite a bit, I’ve been angry ever since.
My grandpa died 5 years ago, before I knew I wanted to be a dentist. Recently I found a folder from 5th grade with all my projects, it had an essay in it that was called "how to brush a cats teeth". Well, I’m a dental assistant, and going to school to be a dental assistant. I also found recently one of my baby teeth in this drawer that I haven’t used since I moved, it was emptied out last august and I haven’t used it, and I found my baby tooth in a case sitting in the middle of the drawer. She said I would see clues and premonitions of my future and I had to listen closely because my grandpa was trying to send me messages about my future.
I never believed in any of this stuff, but I’m wondering, how could someone I’ve never met have so many accurate things to say? I’ve been thinking about going back for a second reading.
I haven’t been in a relationship since** second paragraph, second sentence.
Third paragraph fourth sentence, I’m going to school to be a dentist, I’m already a dental assistant. Sorry for Errors. And if it’s unclear, I’m asking if tarot cards are accurate or if they’re just accurate by chance?
How about you answer my question instead of being completely judgmental and rude.
A lot of that stuff is just a really good psychologist taking what you are giving her and turning it around to sound like a prophesy. Even if you don’t realize it, you are constantly giving her information, and she just pays attention to those that seem most important. Also, being vague does well for a psychic. I wasn’t there for the reading, but I would say that she probably didn’t put a name or relationship to whoever it was that died. As for finding the tooth, I do not know all the details, but I am not one to simply say that the spirit of your grandfather put it there for you to find. But finding the essay seems much more coincidental than actually having a purpose. If I went through my childhood homework pieces, I would undoubtedly find several essays about animals, or professing my love for animals, etc. I still do, and I was going to school to become a veterinarian. It doesn’t mean I should still pursue that course of study, as I am not a good student, and I would not survive the rigorousness of the courses.
All in all, I would say that you spoke to someone that is good at reading people, and afterwards you saw coincidences and mistook them for meaningful prophecies. Nothing to be ashamed of, but it’s definitely not something to be taken seriously.
Tarot cards are seemingly accurate because they are vague and are surrounded by psychology.
